This book tells the story of my encounter with the studio Rohling in Bern. Rohling is a collective of artists that works after integrative aspects. By drawing in the studio and connecting with the artists I got to know this special place more and more. In the book I processed my impressions to a free narration, in combinding sentences that I overheared in the studio with my own language and Rohling-art with my own illustrations. INSIDE OUT, a work that deals with the creative process of Outsider-Art and the expression of these art works, is a tribute to this form of art and to the studio Rohling.

Dieses Buch erzählt von meiner Begegnung mit dem Atelier Rohling in Bern. Rohling ist ein Künstlerkollektiv und funktioniert nach inklusiven Aspekten. Ich habe versucht, mich diesem Ort zu nähern, indem ich dort zeichnete und die Menschen näher kennenlernte, die dieses Atelier zu einem so aussergewöhnlichen Ort machen. Das Buch verarbeitet meine Eindrücke zu einer freien Narration, wobei ich im Atelier aufgeschnappte Sätze mit meiner eigenen Sprache und bestehende Rohlings-Werke mit meinen eigenen Bildern verflechte.
„innen ausser mir“, ein Werk, das sich mit der Bildsprache und Bildentstehung von Outsider-Kunst beschäftigt, ist eine Hommage an diese Kunstform und an das Atelier Rohling.
